I own a home and am interested in refinancing my mortgage. Can you complete an appraisal for me?

In almost all cases your lender will be ordering the appraisal and we will return the appraisal to your lender or a third party appraisal management company. The best thing is to look for a lender first; they will take care of ordering an appraisal.
How long will the appraisal inspection take?

We try to arrive at the time agreed to when setting up the inspection. At the inspection the appraiser will usually begin inside, drawing a floor plan, noting quality and condition, and any recent renovations and updating. Interior photographs are often required. After completing the interior portion, the appraiser will measure the outside of the home, obtain exterior photographs, and note any outbuildings, or significant value items such as lot size, views, terrain, etc.. All of this should take about an hour.
When will the appraisal report be ready?

Usually from the date of inspection, most reports will take up to 2 business days. Relocation appraisal reports or multifamily appraisal reports may take up to 5 business days. These times may be extended during very busy appraisal periods.
I have an extremely busy work week. Do you schedule inspections on the weekend?

We generally do not offer any weekend inspections. We will make an effort to provide early or late inspection times (ie, 8:00 am or 4 pm) to get the appraisal inspection completed.
Will I know what the value of my home is at the end of the inspection?

Unfortunately not. Additional hours of research of comparables and market data is required following the inspection. The value of your property will not be finalized until the report is complete.
